YOur COASTAL LONG-TERM RENTAL COMPANY Team
Laura Wuller, Owner and Broker-in-Charge
Laura took ownership of Coastal Long Term Rental Company in 2013. At the time it was a “one-woman show” that she handled top to bottom. Since then, Laura has not only expanded the business, but she’s also improved it with the implementation of new software, processes, and capabilities. The goal was to modernize the company to provide the best possible services to her clients.
Laura’s previous careers were in the real estate industry, short-term property management and procurement. Throughout those years Laura gained an invaluable relationship with some of the top real estate agents of our area, who know her work ethic and high sense of integrity. They continue to trust her with their clients who need property management services or a rental.
Growing up on a ranch in Montana, Laura was instilled with an excellent work ethic early on. The values of accountability and responsibility she brings to her work permeate every facet of her business, something that both owners and tenants appreciate.
Laura has two wonderful children and a very supportive husband. She loves to spend time outdoors with her family, watching her kids grow up in such a beautiful place.
Christie Hunt, Operations Manager
Christie works out of the Bluffton office as the Operations Manager. She joined Coastal as a Property Manager when we opened the Bluffton branch in 2018. Coastal had acquired her previous employer that year and was excited to keep Christie on board. Christie came with a lot of experience in the property management business, working her way up from an administrative role to a licensed Property Manager, Office Manager, and now Operations Manager. She has extensive knowledge of the area, market, and is very detail oriented. She provides excellent customer service to anyone she encounters and loves new technology.
Christie is originally from LaGrange, GA where she received her degree in accounting. She had briefly lived in the Lowcountry before receiving her degree and ended up moving back in 2006. Christie loves anything to do with being outdoors. Some of her favorite things to do are boating, fishing, crocheting, holiday decorating and time with family and friends.
Katie Knight, Licensed Property Manager
Katie has been a Hilton Head/Bluffton native since the 90's. She attended the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!) and settled down to raise her kids in the beautiful Lowcountry. Previously an Administrative Assistant in the Bluffton office, Katie is now a Property Manager in the Hilton Head location, aiming to create an enjoyable renting experience for both homeowners and tenants. Outside of the office, she can be found paddling along the May River, down at Coligny Beach, checking out the local farmer's market, or catching up on a good book
Leigh Ann Farmer, Licensed Property Manager
Leigh Ann works out of our Hilton Head office and has been with Coastal since 2021. She obtained her Property Manager’s license in 2017 and has built extensive experience in the Hilton Head and Lowcountry rental markets. Her background includes managing and supporting both long-term and short-term rental properties, giving her a well-rounded understanding of the unique needs and expectations of property owners, tenants, and vacation guests.
With years of hands-on experience in the rental market, Leigh Ann brings a strong knowledge of local market trends, property operations, tenant and guest relations, and the day-to-day challenges of property management. She provides excellent customer service, paired with a great sense of humor, and relies on her experience and knowledge to problem-solve and provide the best possible support to owners, tenants, guests, and vendors.
Leigh Ann is originally from Douglas, GA, but moved to Statesboro, GA, in 2010 to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management. After a successful career in retail management, she decided to explore the restaurant industry. She was brought to the Lowcountry in 2016 as a Restaurant Manager on Hilton Head Island and later decided to pursue a new career path in property management and real estate.
Leigh Ann enjoys reading, crafting, and experiencing all the culture that the Lowcountry has to offer. She is a proud pet parent and enjoys participating in local community events.
